Oleksandra Ravska

Hi! My name`s Oleksandra, I`m an artist from Odesa (Ukraine). I was born in Odesa, and was living there till January 2023, now I`m staying temporary in Sweden. I graduated from Odesa Academy of Building and Architecture, the Faculty of Fine Art in 2016. In my artistic practice, I combine modern and classical imagery. A fundamental role in my work was played by education and the creative environment I grew up in. The art of past centuries is presented to us in such grandeur and perfection that it naturally becomes an impulse for the formation of my artistic tone. I set the task of finding such plasticity and imagery that can express the essence of our time. To reduce tradition to a precise and concise formula in the context of modernity. Being in a constant creative search, I`m always experimenting, not limiting myself in the plot, technique, and material. I used to work with acrylic, tempera, oil on canvas and various types of graphics, moving from figurative to abstract and back.
